Cast Interviews: At the End of the Production

The final wrap up of reflections as we interview the cast one more time

The play’s performances were done for the time being. We interviewed the cast originally very early in the production process, long before they learned their lines and knew very little about the people they were portraying. We interviewed them during production once they were fully immersed in the play and their characters. Now, after many performances at schools and recently before a largely adult audience, we talked to each actor again. They talked about personal transformation, what they learned had changed them emotionally as well as socially, and in their knowledge about the Holocaust. They will never be the same and they vowed to be the best version of themselves going forward.
