JCC Public Performance at CenterStage Theatre

Bruce Buell

The performance comes full circle on it's home stage

A long-awaited performance at the Jewish Community Center’s Centerstage. We had a packed and mixed house. People of all age groups, a diversity of backgrounds, races, and religions. The performance was electric, partly because the audience connected and understood on many levels, understanding the humor in ways that the junior high audiences often miss.

The talkback time at the end and individual interviews were worth the price of admission. Stories were shared and “holes” were filled as some audience members talked about details that their parents or grandparents had purposely left out of their own stories to shield their kids.

The evening exceeded expectations!
